KATHMANDU, May 3: The Cabinet has recommended to President Bidya Devi Bhandari to call the budget session of the Federal Parliament from May 8.
A meeting of the Cabinet held at the Prime Minister's Official Residence in Baluwatar on Sunday decided to recommend to the president to summon the house session from May 8, according to Minister for Education, Giriraj Mani Pokharel.

During the session, federal parliamentarians will hold extensive deliberations on the federal budget and the government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year.
Now, the President's Office will release a notice, summoning the session of both the House of Representatives and National Assembly. The office will also write to the Federal Parliament Secretariat to start the budget session.
