Capital city to have international standard stadium soon: Sports Minister

KATHMANDU, Mar 24: Minister for Youth and Sports Jagat Bahadur Bishwokarma on Saturday said the government would build an international standard stadium in Kathmandu. A detailed project report for the project has started, he said.

KATHMANDU, Mar 24: Minister for Youth and Sports Jagat Bahadur Bishwokarma on Saturday said the government would build an international standard stadium in Kathmandu. A detailed project report for the project has started, he said. 



"All seven provinces will have a well-equipped stadium each within the next five years," he said speaking at an interaction at Reporter's Club in the Capital. 



The government would also manage physical infrastructures for constructing sports grounds for wards of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, he said. 



On the 13th South Asian Games scheduled to take place in Nepal from March 9-18 in 2019, he said the government focuses on the Games. RSS
