Casting over, now time for the full movie: Renu Dahal

KATHMANDU, May 5: Renu Dahal, the mayoral candidate of Bharatpur Metropolitan City on behalf of the ruling coalition, has said that her first five-year stint as the mayor of the city was just the ‘casting’ and “now the people of Bharatpur, including the opposition, will see the full movie.”

KATHMANDU, May 5: Renu Dahal, the mayoral candidate of Bharatpur Metropolitan City on behalf of the ruling coalition, has said that her first five-year stint as the mayor of the city was just the ‘casting’ and “now the people of Bharatpur, including the opposition, will see the full movie.” 


Addressing an election rally in Bharatpur, Chitwan, she said that she will show the 'film' after winning the mayoral election once again. "We don’t have to bow our heads down before the people of Bharatpur as well as the opposition party as we worked well in the last five years. We are very proud,” said Dahal.

According to Dahal, she tried her best for the development of Bharatpur. She said that she has a plan to make Bharatpur a smart city by completing the existing projects as well as bringing new ones. She claimed that the master plan of Bharatpur had been prepared and her victory was inevitable for its implementation.


Similarly, she also criticized opposition leader CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli during the program. Dahal described Oli as an “advocate of regression”.


The ruling coalition is holding an election rally in Bharatpur, Chitwan today.
