Bhusal said that the country’s democracy will become strong if the communist parties unite. He also stressed the need for laying the foundation for party unity by forming a leftist alliance in the upcoming local elections.

Stating that the unity based on the interest of leaders would not last and that that has been proven by past experiences, Bhusal said that unity among the communist parties in the future should not be based on the personal interests of the leaders.
