BIRATNAGAR, Oct 29: Police have arrested two cadres of the Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) from Morang district.
Acting on a tip off, a team of District Police Office (DPO), Morang led by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Santosh Kumar Khadka apprehended two cadres of the outlawed party by raiding the house of Bijuli Prasad Timsina at Miklajung Rural Municipality-1 on Wednesday evening.

According to the DPO, Morang, the arrestees have been identified as Bigyan Rai aka Sanam (18) of Chulachuli Ilam and Kashinath Ghimire aka Prateek (32) of Surunga municipality-2, Saptari.
Police also recovered arms, ammunition, explosives, political documents and logistics.
Preliminary investigations have shown that Ghimire is a company commissioner of the party’s Eastern Command Mechi-Koshi Bureau Fourth Company and Rai is a general member of the party.
