Congress expresses sorrow

KATHMANDU, July 25: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed sadness over the loss of more than 150 lives, with hundreds missing and property worth billions damaged in the devastating floods triggered by heavy rainfall in north and central China since the past few days.

KATHMANDU, July 25: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed sadness over the loss of more than 150 lives, with hundreds missing and property worth billions damaged in the devastating floods triggered by heavy rainfall in north and central China since the past few days.



Issuing a statement here today, leader Deuba has expressed sorrow on his own and on behalf of his party over the sad and unfortunate incident, and extended condolences to the government and people of China.



The NC President has also lauded the rescue and relief efforts of the Chinese government for the people affected by this natural calamity. RSS
