Cooperative Department receives complaint against GB Rai and Rabi Lamichhane for alleged financial misuse

KATHMANDU, Jan 17: A complaint was officially filed with the Cooperative Department against GB Rai, the chairman of Gorkha Media Group, and Rabi Lamichhane, the former Managing Director of the company and current Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

KATHMANDU, Jan 17: A complaint was officially filed with the Cooperative Department against GB Rai, the chairman of Gorkha Media Group, and Rabi Lamichhane, the former Managing Director of the company and current Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). 


The complainant, Yubraj Safal, expressed concerns about the alleged misappropriation of cooperative finances by Rai and Lamichhane, citing potential violations of the established laws.

The complaint calls for a thorough investigation into the matter and urges appropriate legal actions to be taken against the implicated individuals. 


Furthermore, the complainant has drawn attention to the issue by bringing it to the concerned Minister's notice, requesting a comprehensive inquiry into the documents and agreements related to the issuance and receipt of loans.
