BHIRATNAGAR, Dec 28: Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of State 1 Government, Hikmat Bahadur Karki has said coordination in law and security has to be maintained among all the provinces for promoting good governance in the country.
Addressing the inter-province experience sharing programme on law and security here today, he opined that the experience of all the provinces would be useful in enacting laws required for maintaining good governance.

The programme is organized by the State 1 Government's ministry of internal affairs and law. He expressed the belief that the achievements made by the state 1 government in the last 22 months would be helpful to all the provinces, stressing on the need of sharing the experience among the states to give a feel of the achievements made in terms of security in the national and international sectors to the people.
The State 1 Government Minister shared that the state government has carried out various reformative works in the security sector. In this connection, he maintained about sticking of 'Police Stickers' at 1.1 million households, the construction of changing room for the women police at the District Police Office and construction of 51 structures of security bodies.
Ministry Secretary Hari Prasad Mainali said the objective of the programme is to forge coordination on issues of common concern, mutual coordination, law and security among all provinces. Chief Minister of State 1 Sherdhan Rai and the Ministers for Internal Affairs and Law from all the States except Karnali, namely Gyanendra Kumar Yadav from State 2, Shaligram Jamarkattel from State 3, Hari Bahadur Chumang from Gandaki State, Kul Prasad KC from State 5 and Prakash Bahadur Shah from the Farwest State, were present in the programme.
Similarly, the Chief Attorneys, the secretaries and high level officials at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law and Chiefs of Nepali Army, the Armed Police Force and the National Investigation Department from all the States participated in the programme.
The conclusion of the experience sharing programme would be made public on conclusion of the programme.
