COVID-19 patient dies at Patan Hospital

KATHMANDU, July 11: A chronic kidney patient succumbed to COVID-19 at the Lalitpur-based Patan Hospital on Friday evening.

KATHMANDU, July 11: A chronic kidney patient succumbed to COVID-19 at the Lalitpur-based Patan Hospital on Friday evening.


According to Bishnu Sharma, director of the hospital, the 60-year-old man was admitted to the hospital 10 days ago.

“The COVID-19 test result of the deceased came positive,” said Sharma.


With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 36.


The country has already reported 16,649 cases, with 8,011 recoveries.
