CPN (Maoist Center) decides to withdraw support to Oli-led govt

KATHMANDU, May 4: The CPN (Maoist Center) has decided to withdraw its support extended earlier to the KP Oli-led government.

KATHMANDU, May 4: The CPN (Maoist Center) has decided to withdraw its support extended earlier to the KP Oli-led government. 


A Standing Committee meeting of the party held on Tuesday took a decision to this effect.

According to the party spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the party decided to withdraw its support to the Oli-led government. “A formal letter will be sent to the Parliament Secretariat tomorrow [Wednesday],” he added.


Earlier, the party had assigned the party’s Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal to take necessary decisions on the withdrawal of the support to the government.
