KATHMANDU, Jan 10: The CPN (Unified Socialist) is holding its secretariat meeting today to decide whether to give a vote to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government.
Deputy General Secretary of the party, Jagannath Khatiwada, informed that the secretariat meeting being presided over by party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal would decide whether to vote for the confidence motion and join the government.
The politburo meeting of the party held a few days ago had decided to first observe the common minimum program of the government and take a decision on confidence motion.

The ruling alliance had made public the common minimum program on Monday.
The party has called its Parliamentary Party meeting immediately after the Secretariat meeting today itself. The lawmakers of the party will be issued a whip whether to vote for Prime Minister Dahal’s trust vote as per the party’s decision, according to leader Krishna Kumar Shrestha.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to face a floor test at the House of Representatives meeting today.
The CPN (Unified Socialist) has 10 lawmakers representing the House of Representatives.
