KATHMANDU, July 12: CPN-UML Member of Parliament (MP) Yogesh Bhattarai has said that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's speech in the House of Representatives on Friday seemed to be his last one as the PM.

Speaking in the HoR meeting during the vote of confidence on Friday, MP Bhattarai stated that the prime minister had provided some incorrect information, and accountability for this should be ensured in the future.

He said, "While listening to the Prime Minister's speech, I felt that, in this rostrum, the PM's status showed that he might not return to give a speech as the PM again. I also felt that he had lost hope. That is why he expressed anger. He provided some false information."

He said that the alliance of the two biggest parties in parliament is necessary to establish a stable government, generate employment within the country, and create conditions where Nepalis do not have to seek opportunities abroad.

He claimed that even though it is customary for one of the two major parties in parliament to be in the government and one in the opposition, it is only through the cooperation of the NC and the UML that the country has undergone major changes.
