GORKHA, Nov 4: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) and candidate of Gorkha Constituency No 2, Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that even one vote should not be wasted in the upcoming elections.

Speaking during an election program in Ranitar, Gorkha-2 on Friday, Dahal said, "Making a record is more important than winning." He said that every single vote is important for this.

"Everybody should pay attention to the way of voting, the safe delivery of voters to the polling stations, and to prevent possible errors in voting," said Dahal. He repeatedly appealed to cadres and voters to make a new record. Stating that he has done extensive development in Chitwan, where he won the election earlier, Dahal said that there is a plan to pave the roads of Gorkha, there is plan to develop qualitatively rather than just “improving things”.

In every meeting, Dahal has made it clear to the voters that he did not come to Gorkha only to win the election. He said that he had come to create a model of development and prosperity in Nepal from Gorkha. He said that his priority will be to revive the Gorakhkali rubber industry, expedite Budhi Gandaki project construction, Benighat Larke road construction, and tourism promotion, among others.
