KATHMANDU, April 18: Eight Chinese nationals sustained injuries in a collision between a microbus and a Scorpio vehicle in Pokhara, Kaski.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, Kaski, Basanta Kumar Sharma said that the Scorpio (Ba 13 Cha 5137) and the microbus (Ba 1 Cha 851) collided at Rastra Bank Chowk of Pokhara Metropolis at 4:40 this morning.

DSP Sharma said that 8 out of the 14 Chinese nationals were injured in the accident.
The condition of the injured is normal and they have been taken to Gandaki Medical College for treatment, police said.
The Scorpio driver Rajkumar Adhikari, 43, a resident of Netravati-1, Borang, Dhading, and the microbus driver, Tul Bahadur Karki, 41, a resident of Pokhara-9 Prithvi Chowk, have been detained by the police. Only the Scorpio driver was present in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
Similarly, the police have arrested both the drivers and further investigation is underway, the police said.
