KATHMANDU, Jan 2: Applicants who previously applied to work in the Korean shipbuilding sector now have until January 3 to submit forms for the upcoming manufacturing sector exams. Yet, uncertainty lingers due to the silence of the Korean government regarding this issue.

Earlier, on December 5, the EPS Section declared that only one examiner could take part in exams for a specific sector, causing strife among students who had initially applied for various sectors but weren't chosen.

This sparked protests, compelling the EPS Section to allow just 18 shipbuilding applicants to apply for manufacturing sector exams. Sadly, the situation escalated into a fatal clash between students and the police, resulting in two casualties.

The Patan High Court directed that all shipbuilding applicants should be part of the upcoming EPS Korean language exams for the manufacturing sector.

However, there's uncertainty as the Human Resource Development Service of Korea hasn't acknowledged the court's decision.

With the HRDC of Korea staying silent, the fate of the exams and selections for applicants remains in question, even if the EPS Korea Section permits form submissions.
