Ex-PM Bhattarai insists for dialogue with Biplav

GORKHA, March 9: Former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has urged the government to find political solutions summoning Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav'-led Communist Party of Nepal for talks.

GORKHA, March 9: Former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has urged the government to find political solutions summoning Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav'-led Communist Party of Nepal for talks. 


At a press conference in the district headquarters here today Dr Bhattarai, also the national coordinator of Naya Shakti Party Nepal, insisted on efforts to bring Biplav-led party to political mainstream.

Citing reference to recent signing of pact between the government and Alliance for Independent Madhes in an effort to propel peaceful politics, Dr Bhattarai asked the government to adopt same approach with Biplabv led party. 


He also emphasised that the genuine political agendas raised by Biplav should be addressed politically. The former Prime Minister argued the government, however, should be cautious of the forces advocating for separating the country. ---
