CHITWAN, Jan 28: One person died in a car accident in Chitwan.
A motorcyclist was killed when a Bolero (Ba Pra 03-001 Cha 1197), traveling from Sharanpur to Narayanghat, collided with a motorcycle (Ba Pra 03-003 Pa 8624) at Shivaghat in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-16 at 7:30 PM yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as 41-year-old Madhusudhan Khatri from Bharatpur-16. The District Police Office Chitwan said that Khatri, critically injured in the collision with the Bolero, succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Similarly, his 15-year-old daughter, who was pillion-riding, sustained serious injuries. Shriram Bhandari, spokesperson for the District Police Office Chitwan, mentioned that she is undergoing treatment at the new medical college. Although both of her legs were severely injured, her condition is now improving.
Bhandari said that both vehicles involved in the accident have been impounded and the driver of the Bolero has been arrested, and investigations are underway to take necessary legal actions.
