Fire at TIA international terminal contained, no causalities reported (with video)

KATHMANDU, Feb 10: A fire that broke out at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday evening was doused a while ago with the help of fire extinguishers.


The fire broke out at a coffee shop at the TIA waiting hall of the international terminal today evening. According to police, no causalities have been reported so far.

A short-circuit is said to have caused the fire. The airport authorities have yet to gather details regarding the loss of properties.


International flights have been disrupted following the incident.
