Five swindlers arrested

KATHMANDU, July 8: The police on Monday arrested five persons with fake gold biscuits from Bauddha area in Kathmandu district. They have been found to have swindled people by selling the fake gold bars during an investigation, said SP Sahakul Thapa of Nepal Police.

The arrestees have been identified as Tinu Ghimire Panta of Chitwan, Susmita Acharya of Kathmandu, Jiban Sunar of Sindhupalchok, Jeevan Dhami Chaudhary of Sunsari and Jambu Lama of Gorkha. A team from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division acting on a tip-off made this arrest.
