Two swindlers arrested

KATHMANDU, Oct 18: Police have arrested two persons accused of swindling people out of thousands of rupees promising them jobs in various European countries.

KATHMANDU, Oct 18: Police have arrested two persons accused of swindling people out of thousands of rupees promising them jobs in various European countries. 


A team from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division, following complaints from victims, picked up Samjhana KC of Thakre in Dhading and Ananda KC of Salyan in Kaski, from New Baneshwor in the capital on Monday.

Just before the incident, both of them worked at Koteshwor-based High Link Educational Consultancy in Kathmandu. 


Both of them took up to around Rs 1.1 million promising their clients with jobs in various European countries, a police investigation said. 


A total of seven people have become victim of their cheating so far, police said. The arrestees have been sent to the Department of Foreign Employment for investigation. RSS
