FM Dr Khadka meets his Indian counterpart in Colombo, discusses PM Deuba's visit to India

KATHMANDU, March 29: Foreign Minister Dr Narayan Khadka has held a meeting with his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar on the sidelines of the 18th BIMSTEC Ministerial Meeting being held in Sri Lanka.

KATHMANDU, March 29: Foreign Minister Dr Narayan Khadka has held a meeting with his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar on the sidelines of the 18th BIMSTEC Ministerial Meeting being held in Sri Lanka.


According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, matters including the ongoing preparations for Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's visit to India were discussed in the meeting held on Tuesday morning.

On his part, Indian External Affairs Minister Dr Jaishankar said they discussed cooperation between Nepal and India in connectivity, energy, fertilizers, health and power. He also tweeted that they have agreed to focus on taking forward the Ramayan circuit.
