Former home minister Khand remanded in judicial custody for four days

KATHMANDU, May 10: Former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has been remanded in judicial custody for four days. Khand was arrested earlier this morning for his alleged involvement in the fake Bhutanese refugee scam.

KATHMANDU, May 10: Former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has been remanded in judicial custody for four days. Khand was arrested earlier this morning for his alleged involvement in the fake Bhutanese refugee scam.


The Kathmandu District Court has allowed police to remand Khand into custody for four days.

Earlier, the police issued an urgent arrest warrant and arrested Khand on Wednesday morning. His personal secretary Narendra KC was also arrested today itself. Khand was taken to the Kathmandu Police Range, Teku after the arrest.
