MORANG, March 15: The police have arrested four individuals - one woman and three men - in possession of illegal drugs from Sundar Haraicha Municipality, Morang.
According to DSP Ranjan Kumar Dahal, the spokesperson for Morang District Police Office, 30-year-old Sunita Rai, a resident of Sundar Haraicha Municipality-3, was arrested with brown sugar.
Three arrested along with illegal drugs
During the search, 10 grams of brown sugar, two digital scales, cash worth Rs 538,250 and two mobile phone sets were recovered. DSP Dahal said, “When the team from the Area Police Office, Belbari, conducted the search, brown sugar along with other paraphernalia was seized. Further investigation is ongoing.”
Similarly, Prajjwal Subedi, 23, and Ashish Thakur, 20, both residents of Sundar Haraicha -3, Gachiya were arrested with 10 pieces each of drugs Phenergan, Diazepam, Avil and Lupigesic.
Similarly, DSP Dahal said that Sangam Acharya, 24, from Sundar Haraicha -5, Baliya was also arrested for drug-related offenses.
According to the police, an investigation is underway into the matter.
