MORANG, Oct 10: Police have arrested two people from Kerabari of Morang and Biratnagar with illegal drugs.
According to the Province Police Office of Province 1, Bishal Limbu, 30, of Dangi in Kerabari Rural Municipality-7 has been arrested with one gram and 900 milligrams of brown sugar. “Limbu was arrested by a team from the Area Police Office, Kerabari around 8PM on Saturday,” said SP Navin Raj Rai, spokesperson for the Province Police Office. Further investigation into the matter is underway.

Similarly, Ramesh Shah, 28, of Jahada Rural Municipality-7, the operator of Saira Hotel in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-15, has been arrested on the charge of drug trafficking. According to SP Rai, a team of Rani Area Police Office found illegal drugs while checking the hotel.
According to the police, 15 bottles of Dalex, 42 tablets of Nitravet, 24 tablets of Spasmo Proxyvon, 34 tablets of Spas Trancon Plus and 240 grams of cannabis were recovered from the hotel. Hotel operator Shah has been arrested and further investigation is underway.
