Four injured in leopard attack

BHIMDUTTANAGAR, Jan 8: Four people including a policeman were injured in an attack by a leopard at Bhimdutta municipality-1 of Kanchanpur on Sunday.

BHIMDUTTANAGAR, Jan 8: Four people including a policeman were injured in an attack by a leopard at Bhimdutta municipality-1 of Kanchanpur on Sunday. 



The leopard from a nearby forest had reportedly entered the village, drawing a huge crowd to see the wild animal. In the process, the leopard attacked the locals injuring police head constable Shanker Dutta Mishra and locals Ganesh Bhat, Lal Sarki and Mohan Singh Bista.



The injured are undergoing treatment at Mahakali zonal hospital. 



Meanwhile, a team including an elephant from the Shukla Phanta National Park has been mobilized to take the leopard under control, according to chief protection officer at the Park Bed Kumar Dhakal. RSS
