KATHMANDU, Jan 1: Police arrested four youths in possession of drugs last night. The arrested are Shatrudhan Mukhiya, 27, of Ramgopalpur Municipality-6, Mahottari District, Birendra Mukhiya, 17, of Lalbandi Municipality-4, Sarlahi District, Suresh Mukhiya, 18, and Suman Shrestha, 14, of Barahathawa Municipality-7, according to Prakash Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police.
They returned to Nepal from Kanhama town in Sitamarhi district of Bihar of India at around 8 last night, when police frisked them ‘as they looked suspicious’ at Aurahi Municipality.
Three youths arrested along with brown sugar
Police have recovered 375 pieces of Nitravet tablets banned in Nepal, eight pieces of Spasmo Pro and four bottles of Dilex Syrup from them. They were brought to the District Police Office this morning and further investigation is underway.
