Gold hits new record high of Rs 92,800 per tola

KATHMANDU, July 15: The price of gold has hit the new record high as it was traded for Rs 92,800 per tola (11.66 grams) on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, July 15: The price of gold has hit the new record high as it was traded for Rs 92,800 per tola (11.66 grams) on Wednesday.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the precious yellow metal was traded for Rs 92,800 on Wednesday while the price was Rs 92,200 on Tuesday.

As the bullion price jumped by Rs 600 in a day, its price has hit the new historic high on Wednesday. Gold dealers said that the uncertainty of the world economy, the gold market has attracted bulk investors who are seeking security. The nature of investment patterns has impacted the bullion price all over the world.


The Nepali market has been witnessing fluctuation in gold price and has recorded three new record high in the last one month period.
