Gold price decreases by Rs 4,000 to Rs 141,000 per tola

KATHMANDU, June 9: The price of gold decreased in the domestic market by Rs 4,000 per tola on Sunday.


Fine gold is now being traded at Rs 141,000 per tola, down from Rs 145,000 per tola on Friday.

Similarly, the price of standard gold has dropped to Rs 140,300 per tola today, from Rs 144,300 per tola on Friday.


The price of silver has also decreased by Rs 75 per tola. Silver is priced at Rs 1,825 per tola on Sunday, down from Rs 1,900 per tola on Friday.


The decrease in gold and silver prices in the international market is reflected in the local market. On Sunday, gold was priced at $2,293.84 per ounce and silver at $27.17 per ounce. On Friday, gold was traded at $2,386.34 per ounce and silver at $31.51 per ounce.
