KATHMANDU, Jan 2: After two days of stability, both gold and silver prices increased on Tuesday. Gold price has increased by Rs 500 per tola and that of silver increased by Rs 5 per tola.
The trading price of gold has reached Rs 121,000 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations. The price was Rs 120,500 per tola on Sunday and Monday.
Gold price breaks record, reaches Rs 149,800 per tola
Compared to last Friday, gold on Sunday decreased by Rs 200 per tola and the trading price was maintained. Last Thursday, the price per tola reached Rs 122,000. Likewise, on Friday, it was Rs 120,700 per tola with a drop of Rs 1,300 per tola.
Silver remained stable at Rs 1455 per tola for four days and increased by Rs 5 on Tuesday. Silver is being traded at Rs 1460 per tola. Compared to last Wednesday, it increased by Rs 15 to Rs 1,490 per tola on Thursday. It was reduced by Rs 35 to Rs 1455 per tola on Friday. The price remained stable till Monday.
