Gold price rises by Rs 400 per tola

KATHMANDU, Jan 21: The price of gold has increased by Rs 400 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Jan 21: The price of gold has increased by Rs 400 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday.


Fine gold is being traded at Rs 118,400 per tola today. The precious yellow metal was sold at Rs 118,000 per tola the previous day, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations.

Similarly, standard gold is being traded at Rs 117,850 per tola, up from Rs 117,450 per tola on Friday.


Meanwhile, the price of silver has experienced a marginal decrease by Rs 5 per tola. Silver which was sold at Rs 1,395 per tola on Friday is being traded at Rs 1,390 per tola today.
