KATHMANDU, Feb 16: The price of gold witnessed a surge by Rs 600 per tola in the domestic market on Friday.


Fine gold is being traded at Rs 117,100 per tola today. It was sold at Rs 116,500 per tola on Thursday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations.

Similarly, standard gold is being traded at Rs 116,550 per tola on Friday, compared to the price of Rs 115,950 per tola on the previous day.


Furthermore, the price of silver has also gone up by Rs 35 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,410 per tola on Friday. Silver was sold at Rs 1,375 per tola yesterday.
