KATHMANDU, June 13: The government has barred digging up roads in the capital for the next three months starting from Tuesday, citing the rainy season this year.
Issuing a public notice on Sunday, the Federal Roads Supervision and Monitoring Office (FRSMO), Kathmandu, has stated that it will not allow the offices concerned to dig up roads during this rainy season. Citing the difficulties in road maintenance, the government authority has prohibited digging up roads starting from June 15 to September 16.
