KATHMANDU, June 6: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) confirmed the 13th COVID-19 death in Nepal on Saturday afternoon.
According to Dr Bikash Devkota, spokesperson for th MoHP, the throat swab sample of a 55-year-old female from Dhangadi-4 who died on Friday tested positive for COVID-19 today.

She was a kidney patient and breathed her last while undergoing dialysis at Seti Hospital on Friday afternoon.
The lady had not experienced any symptoms of COVID-19. However, she tested positive in Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test.
Earlier today, the throat swab of a 58-year-old man, who died in home quarantine at Jagadulla Rural Municipality-3, Dolpa, on June 2, tested positive for COVID-19. His throat swab samples were collected at Karnali Academy of Health and Science for the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests on June 4.
With this, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll reached 13.
