227 COVID-19 patients recovered in the last 24 hours
Kathmandu, July 30: With 274 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, Nepal's COVID-19 tally has soared to 19,547.

According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, the spokesperson for Ministry of Health and Population, 274 swab samples tested positive for COVID-19 out of 6304 swab specimen tested for COVID-19 through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method.
As of Thursday, 13,201 people are staying in various quarantine facilities across the country. There are currently 5,227 active cases of COVID-19.
Similarly, 227 people who earlier tested positive for the virus were discharged after recovery from various hospitals in the past 24 hours. So far, 72.97 percent of COVID-19 patients have been recovered, according to Gautam.
