KATHMANDU, June 26: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has reported the 27th Covid-19 death case in Nepal on Friday.
According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for MoHP, a female in her late 20s died of Covid-19 while undergoing treatment at the Rapti Institute of Health and Science (RIHS) in Dang.
She was reportedly found in an unconscious state near RIHS on June 25 by police. She was declared dead shortly after she was taken to the RIHS for the treatment.

Dr Gautam said the deceased was subsequently tested positive for the Covid-19. Further details of the deceased are yet to be collected.
With this, Nepal’s Covid-19 death toll has reached 27.
The MoHP has also reported 593 new cases of Covid-19 taking the Covid-19 tally in the country to 11,755 on Friday.
48 patients of Covid-19 were discharged after recovery from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
