KATHMANDU, Oct 4: The hearing on a case filed stating that the case against former prime ministers Madhav Kumar Nepal and Dr Baburam Bhattarai was not heard, is underway at the Supreme Court.
The case was taken up by the bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana and Justice Nahakul Subedi. Senior advocate Bal Krishna Neupane had filed a case at the Supreme Court seeking an order to prosecute both the former prime ministers.

If the writ is issued as per the petition, the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority will have to re-investigate the role of former prime ministers Nepal and Bhattarai in the Lalita Niwas land scam case.
