KATHMANDU, March 16: Today’s meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) lasted for only about seven minutes and concluded after endorsing a condolence motion.
This is the third meeting in a row where the lower house of parliament did not enter any significant proceedings after it was restored through the Supreme Court’s order on February 23.

Today’s meeting ended with the passage of a condolence motion and nomination of members to chair the meeting. Earlier, the second House meeting on March 10 also did not enter any work schedules and was adjourned after passing a condolence motion for deceased House members and former lawmakers.
The winter session of the HoR began on March 7. Its next meeting is scheduled for March 19.
