Indian national held with banned notes

KANCHANPUR, Sept 17: Police nabbed an Indian national with banned Indian currency notes from Belauri municipality-8. 


Acting on a special tip off, police arrested Satman Singh, 55, a resident of Pilibhit Gram Rajapuri Thana of India, with banned Indian notes on Sunday evening.

Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) Krishna Raj Ojha at District Police Office, Kanchanpur shared that the police recovered 200,000 Indian Currency notes with the denomination Rs 500. 


Investigation into the incident is underway, police informed.
