Israeli Envoy arrives for three-day official visit in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Jan 17: Michal Weiler- Tal, director of South-East Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of Israel, arrived in Nepal on Tuesday for a three-day official visit.

KATHMANDU, Jan 17: Michal Weiler- Tal, director of South-East Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of Israel, arrived in Nepal on Tuesday for a three-day official visit.


According to a statement issued by the Embassy of Israel in Kathmandu, Weiler-Tal met with high-ranking officials at the MoFA Nepal including Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal. They discussed bilateral and multilateral cooperation and explored the possibilities of collaboration for mutual benefit in the future.

Similarly, Israeli Ambassador Hanan Goder hosted a reception in Weiler-Tal’s honor at his residence. Political parties’ leaders, government officials, media persons, agro-experts, educationists, and other dignitaries also attended the event.


The embassy said it believes that the visit will enhance the existing cooperation and bring fruitful outcomes benefitting both the nations.
