KATHMANDU, Jan 25: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae has said that it is a taxing job to further bolster ties between Nepal and India.
"Both the sides need to ponder over how we can improve our bilateral ties in the days ahead. At times, some problems come our way while dealing with our bilateral issues. It is natural,” said Rae. On the whole, we have warm, friendly and intimate relationship between the two countries. From now onwards, efforts should be focused on the development of the two countries, said Rae.
Speaking at an interaction organized by Reporters Club Nepal in the Capital on Wednesday, Rae said that our bilateral ties should be focused on the economic partnership together with the social, cultural and religious aspects.

He further said that both the sides should now take up the economic agenda in the days ahead.
“India has never interfered in the internal affairs of Nepal,” adding, “India will not benefit at all by interfering in the internal affairs of Nepal.”
He also recalled that India has supported Nepal in its every political change.
The works about economic partnership have already begun. Pancheshwar mega project is being implemented. Its DPR is at the final stage. It will be implemented from the middle of this year.
He also clarified that Nepal and India have already signed PTA and PDA. The efforts are being made to further bolster the ties between the two countries.
