Janakpurdham sub-metropolis appeals to locals to celebrate ghee lamp lighting ceremony on Jan 22

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City has appealed to the residents of the city to celebrate the day of the inauguration of Ram Mandir in India’s Ayodhya by holding a ghee lamp lighting ceremony.

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City has appealed to the residents of the city  to celebrate the day of the inauguration of Ram Mandir in India’s Ayodhya by holding a ghee lamp lighting ceremony.


The metropolis issued a notice on Wednesday, appealing to all the locals of Janakpurdham to celebrate the ghee lamp lighting ceremony and light lamps at the Ram and Janaki temples on the day of Ram Mandir inauguration to be held on January 22 in Ayodhya, India.

Since the relationship between India and Nepal is centuries old, the Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolis has requested the people to celebrate the ghee lamp lighting ceremony as January 22 is very important for the people of Janakpur.
