KATHMANDU, Aug 9: The Judicial Council (JC) is preparing to appoint 35 district judges. A meeting of the JC has been scheduled for Friday to finalize these appointments.
Chief Justice Bishwoambhar Prasad Shrestha convened the meeting after consulting with the JC members. According to sources, the sole agenda of the meeting will be the appointment of district judges.
