The Lalighat section of the corridor is also very vulnerable. Vehicular movement along the corridor is very risky as landslides are coming down from Lusa village of Sannitriveni rural municipality-1.

As the work of the Phukot Karnali semi-reservoir project is underway, police say that it is not possible to predict when a major landslide could occur due to the continuous flow of muddy soil.
