KNP National Women’s Volleyball signs deal with Regal Ink

KATHMANDU, April 4: The fifth KNP National Women’s Volleyball tournament has signed a sponsorship deal with the Regal Ink for the upcoming edition.

KATHMANDU, April 4: The fifth KNP National Women’s Volleyball tournament has signed a sponsorship deal with the Regal Ink for the upcoming edition.


The director of Regal Ink Ashutosh Agrawal and Sher Bahadur Khadka Memorial Trust’s vice-president Sita Khadka signed the agreement papers amid a function held in Kathmandu on Wednesday. 


The winner of the tournament will be provided 16 suit-piece worth Rs 456,000 according to the deal.

The director of Regal Ink expressed his happiness for getting the opportunity to get involved in promoting the country’s national game, volleyball. He added that they wanted to participate in the event as motivation to the players is good thing for the sports.


President of the Trust, Ranjan Khadka, announced that the tournament will be held from April 27 to 30 in Jawalakhel Volleyball Training Center. 


The winner of the tournament will bag a purse of Rs 200,000 and the runner-up will receive Rs 100,000. Similarly, the third-placed team will get Rs 50,000.


The best player of the tournament and the winner of Sher Bhadur Khadka Memorial Special Award will receive Rs 15,000 each. 


Likewise, best spiker, best setter, best block, best defense, best quicker, best server and best coach will receive Rs 7,000 each. The players of the match will receive Rs 5,000 each.
