KATHMANDU, Nov 28: Clouds that have been present in the western region including Kathmandu Valley since Monday are still present this morning. Meteorologists have said that there is a chance of rainfall in various parts of the country today.
According to meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane, there is a possibility of light rain at one or two places in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Bagmati and Koshi provinces this afternoon.
There is also a possibility of light to moderate snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces.

Lamichhane said that from tonight, gradual improvement in the weather will be seen from the west.
Nepal is currently affected by western winds as well as the low pressure system formed in Rajasthan. As a result, it has become cloudy.
Although it will feel colder when it is cloudy, the minimum temperature on Tuesday morning is higher than on Monday. According to the records of the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley is 12.2 degrees Celsius at 6:30 this morning. On Monday, it was even lower at 9.5 degrees Celsius.
According to the division, the weather is clear in Lumbini and Gandaki province this morning. However, in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Bagmati, Madhesh and Koshi, it is partial to normal.
Lamichhane said that there is no report of fog when it is cloudy. He said that there is no chance of snowfall in the high mountain areas around Kathmandu.
