RUKUM WEST, Sept 3: A person killed his wife using a sharp weapon in Rukum (West) on Monday night. According to the District Police Office, Nabin Khadka, 27, of Machhimi of Musikot municipality-3 murdered his wife Kamala Budhathoki, 27.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sumit Khadka, said that Nabin, who had consumed excessive alcohol, murdered Kamala. Police arrested Nabin, who had been absconding following the incident, from a jungle nearby his house early this morning.
Police also seized the weapon used to murder Kamala. Reason behind the incident has not been ascertained yet and further investigation into the case was underway.
