KATHMANDU, Feb 29: Four parliamentary committees under the federal parliament are meeting at Singha Durbar on Thursday.
The meeting of the Industry, Commerce, Labor and Consumer Interest Committee started at 8 AM focused on deliberating customs duties and excise duties relating to sponge iron and billets, essential raw materials for steel rods.
Five parliamentary committees holding meetings today
The meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee started at 11 AM on Thursday.
In the meeting, discussions were held on the work of the Money Laundering Investigation and Department of Revenue Investigation.
A meeting of the Infrastructure Development Committee is being held at 11:30 AM. In the meeting, there will be discussions on the strategic road connecting the constituencies.
Similarly, a meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee will be held at 1 PM. The Parliament Secretariat said that the discussions will focus on the bill concerning arrangements for Nepal University.
