Minister Gyawali leaving for Argentina tomorrow

KATHMANDU, Mar 17: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali is leaving for Argentina tomorrow leading a Nepali delegation to the Second High-level United Nations Conference on South-South Cooperation being held in Buenos Aires from 20 to 22 March 2019.

KATHMANDU, Mar 17: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali is leaving for Argentina tomorrow leading a Nepali delegation to the Second High-level United Nations Conference on South-South Cooperation being held in Buenos Aires from 20 to 22 March 2019. 


The Foreign Minister will deliver Nepal's national statement at the plenary of the Conference on the role of South-South Cooperation and the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: Challenges and Opportunities.

Minister Gyawali will also participate as a panelist to the event entitled Leveraging South-South and Triangular Cooperation to Advance Sustainable Development in the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States being organized by UN-OHRLLS. 


The Foreign Minister will also participate in a High-Level Dialogue with Asian Countries being organized by the Argentinean Foreign Minister on 21 March 2019. On the sidelines of the Conference, Foreign Minister will engage in bilateral meetings with his counterparts from various countries as well. 

The delegation comprises of Ambassador of Nepal to Brazil Tara Prasad Pokharel, and an official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 


Minister Gyawali will return home on 23 March 2019. RSS
