Minister Joshi sees need of political unity

POKHARA, Dec 9: Minister for Population and Environment Jayadev Joshi has stressed the need of unity among the political parties for development and socio-economic transformation in the country despite the differences in their political ideologies.

POKHARA, Dec 9: Minister for Population and Environment Jayadev Joshi has stressed the need of unity among the political parties for development and socio-economic transformation in the country despite the differences in their political ideologies. 


"The country is caught up in political instability and all political parties should unite to pull the country out of such situation," he said.

Taking part in the formal announcement of the programme to develop the Chandi Secondary School at Bharatpokhari Barbhoteni of Kaski into a child-friendly school today, the Minister spoke of the need of national prosperity to ensure a bright future for children. 


He insisted on focusing on environment protection issue while carrying out development works. 


Institute of Forestry Associate Professor Dr Jeet Narayan Saha spoke of the need of forest conservation and increasing awareness at local-level on its importance to minimize environment degradation. RSS
