KATHMANDU, August 2: The newly-appointed State Minister for Health and Population Umesh Shrestha has announced not to take government facilities.
Unveiling his 100-day plans during a press meet organized at the Ministry of Health and Population, Minister Shrestha maintained that he will not receive any government facilities including his salary except security service during his tenure as state minister.

Shrestha also committed not to be involved in businesses during his tenure as minister and expressed confidence that all the eligible population of Nepal will be vaccinated by the end of mid-March.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had appointed Shrestha as State Minister for Health and Population on July 25.
